"Occasionally, you find a designer whose work stands out from the rest. While I have nothing against the status quo or anything, there is something inspiring about designers that push the envelope, and therefore push the world’s design aesthetic to new heights. When, finding the work of Vanessa Adão, I have to say that her adventurous graphic prints, home accessories and wallpaper lines do just that.
“Vanessa Adão began her life in Rio de Janeiro. As a child she soaked up the sunshine, colors, and zest for life that only Brazil can provide,” therefore, her textile work seems to bring a daring sophistication to the world of design. Each unique print is created through a “combination of hand-drawn techniques, painting, and digital skills.” By combining strong and colorful country representations and latina cultural influences, the end result is a print of depth: filled with history and complete with a bold color profile. In this season of bold color, I can only think Vanessa’s designs will provide the perfect accent to any room."
